Caputo’s on 15th should be known as Caputo’s Concentrate. It has all the same elements of the original Caputo’s (Caputo’s on Broadway) crushed into a 1600 square foot space right in the middle of Salt Lake’s 15th and 15th neighborhood. These elements include sandwiches, a specialty foods market with hundreds of farmstead cheeses, charcuterie, chocolate, olive oil, vinegar, pasta, honey, jam, etc. Caputo’s on 15th will also extend the culinary class program that won Matt Caputo Best Food & Wine Education award in 2009 from Salt Lake City Magazine, with classes such as wine and cheese pairings.
Caputo’s on 15th seats 30 inside and 32 on the patio and is open into the night to offer patrons and neighbors a causal dining option. In addition to sandwiches, salads and lasagna the menu will also include many antipasti platters. These platters will be full of delicious meats, cheeses and olives to nibble on with a glass of wine or beer from the reasonably priced wine and beer list. Wine selections reflect the Caputo spirit of Southern European traditions and the beer list is full of classics from around the world and local brewers. 1516 S. 1500 E.
