So often, they’re smaller, making controlled quantities of prized cheese, salumi, balsamic, chocolate, honey, or pork.
They care about HOW things are made – with the best possible ingredients, from the best-tended animals or crops.
We mean it when we say artisan – these people are dedicated, no, obsessed with their craft. So much so that often it isn’t about the money, rather it’s about making the best possible product they can.
We couldn’t do what we do without them – the ranchers, the beekeepers, the cheesemakers, the affineurs, the salumieri, the pasta artisans, the chocolatiers, and more.
